Worst summary ever, I'll give you that. But hello, best book ever! :) I was sooo excited when this book came out. Really. It was unreal. I bought it on my Kindle jsut so I wouldn't have to wait another 8 hours. I was very excited. And impatient. :)

It doesn't start after the cliffhanger ended, which was unfortunate but necessay to the story. In fact, it starts with Simon! Whoo? No whoo. Simon's okay, but when compared to the MAJOR cliffhanger (or to Jace for that matter) I really don't care about him. At all. The actual story starts two weeks after the ending of COFA. Jace is still gone. Jace remains gone for most of the book. *weeps.* Anyway.

Clary's still kick ass. Sebastion's still creepy. Pretty much sums that up.. Chairman Meow (Magnus' cat, and my kitten's namesake) is in this book more! I love it. Magnus, still awesome. He and Alec are still together. :)

Clary's determination is astounding. I mean, I love Jace too but the lengths she goes to get him back is just amazing. Just saying. Especially what she goes through with Sebastion to have her boyfriend back. The entire Counsul pretty much gave up the search save a member or two, and she's still persistent. I don't think I go go through all of that.

I loved all the scenes. New York, Italy, and England are all I can remember but I loved them all. Let me just say that the Italy scenes was so sweet. I won't say what it was because of spoilers, but aww. So, so sweet! I wish I could have a relationship like that. But, alas no.

One scene left me almost speechless. Almost, because I could only say one word. That word was ew. It was in the latter half of the book, and I think anyone who's read it knows what I'm talking about because.. Wow. Twisted place, Cassie, very twisted.

I wish this book still included Jace's sarcasm, but like the pervious book, COFA it was missing. That made me very sad. One of the many reasons this series is my favorite is because of Jace's quotes. And they were lacking. I was sorely disappointed in that.

I still give it like 7 stars though. ♥

I loved this book! It has a beautiful cover, an awesome main character, and one dark and dangerous guy with his opposite cousin who's undeniably dreamy. Personally I'm Team Asher, you know the dark and dangerous one. But he has a sweet side! I'm so typical.

This is Jocelyn's first book, and I think she did amazing. I love her writing and I was thinking about it long after I was done. I even gave it to my friend as a birthday present and she loved it too, so it's not just me!

Skye's so sweet. She skies, and studies hard to get into Columbia which is her dream university. She has two best friends and cares about them both so much. You can relate to her (which is important to me in a book) because she has goals and hobbies just like every other teenager. I hope.

The book takes places in Colorado! I love Colorado! Plus I really  wanted to go skiing after I read this book. I still do and it's been a while since I read it. It's in a small town, well, not a really small town like mine but big enough to have a cafe. If that tells you anything.

Asher! And Devon! I like them both, it's true. But, I do like Asher more. Imagine that. Me liking the more sarcastic and dangerous one. How unpredictable of me. It's just my type.  He's so sweet and he really care about Skye. He's also funny. I like funny. ;)

I really liked the book. 4 1/2 stars! ♥

In other news

I haven't wrote any reviews lately. I apologize for the delay and will start again soon. It's very hard to juggle things lately.

The YA Sisterhood is having their second annual crush tournament going on right now. As of now, they have the brackets and will start the actual voting and eliminations soon. I know everyone except for about three, so choosing will be HARD. 
One of the best parts is, normally the authors who created the characters will post a scene or something as a treat for getting their guy as far as possible.
Personally, I'm rooting for quite a few. Noah, Daemon, and Tod are my favorites I think. There's just too many I ♥! Michelle Hodkin has already promised scenes for Noah!

Yes, I like this series. No, I didn't like the book that much, save one part. Okay, more than one but still. Fang really pissed me off with the whole "My blog will save the world" crap. I mean, really? You're supposed to love her. Does that not sound like love, or is it just me?


There's also one part where everything I thought about Angel was just like, um, hello! Wow. And then after I thought about it, I was like.. Well, yeah. And the Gasman's impressions are freaking hilarious. And this ter Borcht guy, all the scenes involving him are just.. Amazingly funny. They make fun of him so much.

The ending. Aw. Finally. And it ended back in the States, but for a portion of the book part of the flock was in Europe. France (I miss it so freaking much) Germany, England.. I loved hearing about the places I love. Granted I have never been to England but regardless, I want to and I love some people there. But the change of scenery was pleasant indeed.

I personally would give this around 3.5 or 4 out of my stars. Because well, Fang really pissed me off at some points. But overall, I did like it. Max is still as likable as always, and they're still those twists that you know you should see coming but you never do. At least, not totally. :)
